daniel is a graduate in fashion design from parsons the new school for design in new york city.
prior to parsons, daniel studied graphic design at the Toulouse Lautrec College in Peru. After college, Daniel worked as an Art Director on the Coca-Cola and Nestle accounts at the leading global advertising firm McCann Erickson. For the last several years leading up to Parsons, Daniel worked as a freelance Art Director in New York City.
Daniel’s design inspiration and vision is based on his love of architecture, insights from travel experiences, and interactions with people from different cultures. Through the use of his own original prints and the addition of unique and unexpected details, Daniel infuses a sense of individuality in his designs. Daniel’s intention is to give people a very comfortable but polished look: sportswear with a smart sense of style. In his own words,
“I want to give people strong foundational pieces that they can accessorize and make their own.”
In 2014, Daniel received the Fashion Designer of the Year award in the Menswear category for Parsons’ AAS Fashion Design program.
For 2013/2014, Daniel was the recipient of the Li & Fung Scholarship Award.
In addition, Daniel was on the Dean’s List for every semester he attended Parsons.
